The Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) CSEC Spanish course is a comprehensive program designed to prepare students for the CSEC Spanish examination. The course covers the following topics:
- Listening and speaking: Students will develop their listening and speaking skills through a variety of activities, including conversation, discussion, and role-playing.
- Reading and writing: Students will learn to read and write in Spanish through a variety of texts, including fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. They will also learn to analyze and interpret texts.
- Grammar and vocabulary: Students will learn the grammar and vocabulary necessary to communicate effectively in Spanish.
- Cultural studies: Students will learn about the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries and the influence of those cultures on the language.
The course is designed to be interactive and engaging, with a strong emphasis on
communicative competence. Students are expected to participate in class discussions
and activities, as well as to complete homework assignments and practice tests.
